Student Uses

  • “Alexa, what’s the weather like today?”

Teacher Uses

  • It can also be used to signal transitions and set timers.
  • Play music on command.
    • Spotify and Pandora can be integrated or use free content on Amazon Music content.

Privacy

  • To turn off listening,
    • Alexa on Echo Devices – push the mute button on the device
      • You can also use an Alexa Voice Remote for Amazon Echo while the Echo is muted. (Android Central)
    • Google – say “OK Google, mute the microphone.”
    • Siri® – “Hey Siri®, stop listening.”
