Google Tour Creator – Students

3 Stripes

Google Expeditions has allowed us to redefine what is possible in the classroom. Now you can create your own custom experiences with the touch of a mouse using Google Tour Creator. You can use our 360° cameras or Google StreetView content from around the world to create virtual field trips. These can be create now and later this year, they can become teacher controlled through Google Expeditions.

Students can create their own tours for presentations. Teachers can check out the 15 piece VR kit from the Instructional Technology department. (Email Jamie or Tina, or schedule a time.) Incorporating this technology, whether used by the teacher or the students, meets the criteria for Modification and Redefinition levels of SAMR. It also hits ISTE standards for Innovative Designer, Knowledge Constructor, and Creative Communicator.
