Individual Conferencing
Individual conferencing with students is a key component to developing successful students. Conferencing allows students to develop independence and take ownership. It also provides the student with immediate feedback on work and allows the teacher to keep track of the specific needs of each student in the classroom.
Ask questions so that students can think critically about their work.
Give feedback on strengths and areas of improvement.
Keep a checklist to keep track of grades and to make notes about what was discussed during the conference.
